êtg just got a little makeover.
I’ve been doing some work on design and navigation things.

First, I changed category landing pages to show a blog roll of category posts. No more ugly list of links! Here is a screenshot of the Fashion landing page.

Second, I split up the individual post headers so that subcategories are still accessible. The header previously linked to the entire category i.e. Fashion. Now, it links to the category (Fashion) and the subcategory (The Standard).

Third, I added top and side borders to my custom “Likes” section in my sidebar.

Then, I decided to give the whole page a cucumber eye mask lift. I upgraded the header to a sleeker, smaller version of itself. êtg is self-assured and established; no more need for large, insecure branding! Eventually, I’d love to move to a single ê. And then?! Just the ^. heh heh ;)
Also, the header is fixed. Ooh, fancy. Tried to make it as tight as possible guys but that nav bar is tricky. Will work on that.

How do we like the new fonts? I chose a few new ones (+ spacing) that I liked. I wanted the site to say Cool, Calm, and Collected, and I made sure that all my headers, footers, body, and even Search bar followed suit. Took lots of guerrilla CSS. (This is, as always, a Frankensteinian project!)
(Frankenstein is one of my favorite stories/books.)
Okay, goodnight. êtg is going to enjoy her new big girl pants. Please excuse the mess during construction. ▲
